40+ top delegates at the Intelligent Automation Africa 2020
Over 40 leaders and stakeholders in the automation and robotics sector in Africa will assemble in Johannesburg, South Africa between the 17th and 18th June 2020, to discuss on how to restructure the future of work with robots at the Intelligent Automation Africa (IAA) 2020.
Intelligent automation—the combination of artificial intelligence and automation—is starting to change the way business is done in nearly every sector of the economy. It is the latest trending technology in many fields especially in industries like Manufacturing, Automation, Healthcare, Energy, Transport, Defence, Space, Data Mining, Elder Care etc.
Today’s professionals in different organizations are challenged to continuously reduce the cost of operations while also addressing the demands and expectations of increasingly tech-savvy customers. To achieve this, they are turning to intelligent automation to orchestrate and utilize human agents, achieve higher-quality outputs, enhance their customer experience and increase capacity to handle higher business volumes.
The old ways of managing and supporting business processes are undergoing a paradigm shift. The old edifice of back-office support system is being dismantled to make way for the new conception, made possible by the advent of intelligent automation, disruptive technologies and artificial intelligence, which together promise to bring in speed, ease and significant cost optimization.
Now is the time to build a foundation that ensures that IA helps bring better lives in Africa and beyond. With foresight and planning, the technological revolution that IA brings will be a force to empower a fair and prosperous society in Africa. This oft-overlooked continent has much to give and to get from Intelligent Automation.
Intelligent Automation Africa (IAA) 2020 will provide a spectrum of opportunity to expand knowledge and share new concepts amongst the Technologist, Professionals, Industrialists, Researchers, Innovators, and students from research area of Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Internet of Things.
The conference will move forward with the theme: “Restructuring the future of work with robots” as we believe the future of the industrial revolution rests on the advent of disruptive technologies and intelligent automation. Experts will share their research experiences and engage in many interactive discussions at the event, whereas learners will get a first-hand chance to discuss their vision with the eminent speaker. Therefore Intelligent Automation Africa (IAA) 2020 will also act as a bridge between the learners and learning.
The forum will be chaired by Prof. Dr Mbang Sama who is currently the Head of Digitalization & Simulation of Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations, Daimler AG, Germany. Prof. Dr Mbang is high-level expert in digital transformation and digitalization technologies who is presently coordinating the Horizont2020 EU funded project ALLIANCE (Affordable Lightweight Automotive Alliance), with the support of EUCAR (European Car Automotive R&D).
Alongside Prof. Dr Mbang Sama, the forum will gather a great line up of speakers already confirmed including; Donalda Pretorius, CIB Head of Intelligent Automation Operations Technology, Standard Bank Group, South Africa; Varun Kohli, Data Science Sr. Strategist and Machine Learning Expert, Google; Benedict Anyalenkeya, MD/CEO, New Capital Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Nigeria; Atenkosi Ngubevana (MBA), Executive Head of Department – Digital Process Re-engineering, Vodacom, South Africa; Jacques Ludik, Founder & President, Machine Intelligence Institute of Africa; Johan Steyn, Chair: Special Interest Group – Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) and Peter Oeschger, Head of IT, Grobank; among many others.
You must be a part of this team which shares the same vision and provides a prism of possibilities for the future. Join us in Johannesburg, South Africa for IAA 2020!
