The first edition of the Banking Innovation Africa Forum, hosted by MJDVent International Limited, held at the Radisson Blu Le Vendome Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, on 6th – 7th November, 2019.
The Banking Innovation Africa Forum conference is an annual event where business leaders and policymakers in the African banking sector converge to discuss on how disruptive innovations can shape the future of the banking services in view of the current challenges bedeviling the industry. And also, discuss possible strategies that could spur growth in the continent’s banking industry.
Themed Transforming the African Banking Landscape through Disruptive Innovations, this year’s conference was an avenue for a detailed discussion on the furtherance of new technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, API’s, Internet of Things and analytic tools. And how these technologies can affect and enable the industry, transform customers’ experience and interaction, and improve productivity and efficiency.
The conference in over 25 Case Study sessions, 2 panel discussion sessions and a round table discussion, which involved over 20 speakers from prestigious organisation and companies did justice to the foci of the forum.
